The Ötzthaler Radmarathon is one of the most iconic single-day cycling events in the Alps. Four passes, 5,500 meters of climbing, only 4,000 starters chosen by lottery each year. I finished in 12:24:25 with under 3,000 km of annual training. Prepared with structured interval sessions, nutrition training with Mnstry, and a few upgrades to the bike.
Solden to South Tyrol and back. Brenner, Jaufenpass, Kuhtai, Timmelsjoch. Each pass more beautiful than the last. Adrenaline-fueled descents in between.
